Location
The Macon Training Center is located in the heart of Georgia at 4885 Riverside Drive, 3rd Floor (Suite 300) in the State Bank Building, Macon GA. This facility is managed by the DHS Office of Facilities and Support Services.
Meeting Rooms
For the convenience of primarily employees of the Georgia Department of Human Services and other state agencies, three meeting rooms are available for use during the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. These meeting rooms are the:
- Macon Training Center – Atlanta Room (seats 30 individuals, u-shaped)
- Macon Training Center – Macon Room (seats 50 individuals, classroom style)
- Macon Training Center – Savannah Room (seats 30 individuals, rectangle style)
The rooms are self-reserved via GroupWise. Click on this link for instructions.
These rooms are pre-arranged and users should not rearrange any of the furniture. Users are not allowed to bring any food in the meeting rooms. Under special circumstances, an exception to this policy may be granted by calling the training center in advance.

Coming From The North: Traveling on I-75, take Exit #171, Riverside Drive/SR87/US23. Turn left onto Riverside Drive. After proceeding about ½ mile, turn right into the State Bank complex.
Coming from the South: Traveling on I-75, take Exit 171, Riverside Drive/SR87/US23. Turn right onto Riverside Drive. After proceeding about ½ mile, turn right into the State Bank complex.
Parking
Park in the rear of the building. Handicap parking is available in the front and rear of the building. Do not use any spaces marked “Visitor” or “Reserved”.
