The DHS Office of Inspector General was created in 2007 to provide support and oversight throughout the Department of Human Services to ensure that work is carried on according to agency policy, procedure, and practice. We provide this service through our Investigative Units including Internal Affairs, Background Investigations and Fingerprinting, Benefits Claims Investigations, Benefits Claims Recovery and Internal Audits.
