Honoring 50 years of social services in Georgia

Social workers are on duty in schools, hospitals, government facilities, the military, corporations, health care and mental health settings.  

As we enter a new decade, it is important to look back and honor the powerful, positive impact the social work profession has had on our society for generations. For decades, DHS social workers have helped clients become stable and self-sufficient despite personal or systemic barriers.
