DHS updates data dashboards
The Department of Human Services recently launched its fourth iteration of data dashboards, showcasing the agency’s performance across the Division of Aging Services (DAS), Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) and Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS). These updates reflect our commitment to transparency by providing current and reliable data to the community and our partners.
Enhancements have been made to increase the functionality of how maps display information. Users can now select multiple counties to show data in a regional segment. And, more county-level data has been added to several heat maps.
DCSS added four new pages of information with more detail on outreach program performance, payments, payment types, enforcement actions and federal benchmarks.
The DAS pages now contain more detailed descriptions to provide additional clarity to the data presented.
Additions were made to the DFCS Office of Family Independence pages to include statistics on staff caseloads, processed applications and processed renewals for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.
The DFCS Child Welfare section added four additional pages of data that include details on children served, children available for adoption, foster care discharges and reports of maltreatment.
