In order to allow time for necessary building improvements, the Ben Hill Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) office, located at 124 South Grant Street, Fitzgerald, GA, will be temporarily relocating staff.

Customers may continue to leave verification in the locked drop box outside of the Ben Hill DFCS office.  They may also pick up applications, which will be left in the mailbox outside of the Ben Hill office.  Both boxes will be monitored daily to ensure that information is handled in a timely manner.

To report instances of child abuse or neglect, please call the DFCS CPS Intake Communication Center at 1-855-GA-CHILD (1-855-422-4453).  For information regarding Food Stamps, TANF, Medicaid or Childcare, customers can call the DFCS Customer Contact Center at 1-877-423-4746.

If customers choose to speak to someone in person, they may visit the Irwin County DFCS office, located at 108 N. Irwin Ave., Ocilla, GA.
