Canton, GA – The Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) will serve Cherokee County residents from a new location beginning Monday, March 30.

The office, located at 1300 Univeter Rd., will serve more than 13,000 families in Cherokee County.

The office at 2782 Marietta Highway, Suite 100, will close its doors permanently at the end of business today.

In alignment with Gov. Brian P. Kemp’s call to limit in-person contact across the state, the Department of Human Services last week implemented office protocols in response to the global pandemic of COVID-19. As a result, local DCSS staff are conducting in-person meetings with customers by appointment only. Most business with DCSS can be handled over the phone or online, and DCSS encourages customers to use self-service options and telephonic communication as a primary means to conduct business with DCSS during this time.
