Spalding County DFCS Moving to New Location
Griffin, GA – Today, the Georgia Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS) announced that the Spalding County DFCS office is relocating to a new temporary office space and will begin serving clients there on Jan. 15, 2025.
The temporary location for the Spalding County DFCS office is 1681 North Expressway, Griffin, GA 30223, and will open on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at 9 a.m.
Spalding County DFCS will see walk-in customers Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office will be closed for lunch daily from noon to 1 p.m. There will be a drop box on-site for customers to drop off important documents.
This temporary location will have limited lobby capacity. Spalding County DFCS encourages applicants, existing clients, and the general public to continue to access information and/or apply for assistance online when possible.
