He formerly served as the Department’s deputy chief financial officer and director of the Office of Budget Administration, where he oversaw a budget of more than $1.9 billion. Taylor graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He is a board member of the National Association of Human Services Finance Officers and a member of the Government Finance Officers Association and Georgia Fiscal Management Council. Originally from Atlanta, he now lives in Hampton with his wife, Janaya, and their five children, A’maya, Ryland, Roland, Baley, and Caleb.
