Honor a social worker who has made a difference in Georgia

March marks the celebration of National Social Work Month. This year, as we observe the national theme, Social Workers Are Essential, we will honor the compassionate social workers who assist people in need to overcome barriers to achieve safe, stable and fulfilling lives. This work is always important, but it has been especially crucial in the wake of an enduring public health crisis.

All month long, we will spotlight the life-changing work accomplished by the frontline workers in our divisions of Aging Services, Child Support Services and Family & Children Services, who have been a lifeline for Georgia’s vulnerable families during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you know a social worker who has helped transform lives, please complete our survey to share your experience on our social media channels during National Social Work Month at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XRDT32Q

Follow along throughout March as we highlight these essential heroes!
