"Light Up the Holidays” for older and disabled adults
Do you want to make the holidays brighter for a person living under public guardianship? Across the state of Georgia, there are over 1,300 Georgians living under public guardianship. Help these older Georgians and adults with disabilities experience the joy of the holiday season by donating a small gift.
Are you ready to send your support and good cheer to someone under guardianship?
Here’s how you can help:
- Get a list of requested items.
- Check out the Amazon Gift List of frequently needed items that will be gifted to those who do not have lists.
- Email the Division of Aging Services at [email protected] to request the wish list of an older Georgian. You are free to choose just one item or everything on the list. (We recommend striking a balance between practical and enjoyable gifts.)
- Shop and have fun!
- Once you’ve picked up all the gifts, drop them off or mail them to one of the addresses below by Wednesday, November 27, 2024:
