Join volunteers across the country for a day in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Join volunteers across the country for a day “on,” in lieu of a day off in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on Jan. 18, 2021. We mark this day celebrating the life and legacy of a civil rights icon by encouraging all Georgians to volunteer to improve their communities. DHS has many ways you can help people in your neighborhood.
Volunteer to assist vulnerable children, adults and families throughout the state for one-time, ongoing, short- or long-term opportunities. If you are unable to volunteer on the MLK holiday, there are volunteer opportunities throughout the year!
