Government and Legislative Affairs

The Government and Legislative Affairs team holds the primary responsibility to develop and implement strategies to advance the Department's legislative initiatives and other interests relating to the Georgia General Assembly. The Government and Legislative Affairs team also works to inform and educate the Georgia Legislature on issues related to the Department's programs, services, and its customers’ needs.
