Georgia EPPICard Prepaid Debit MasterCard disruption

In June 2023, DHS’ Division of Family & Children Services is introducing a new electronic payment platform for public assistance (TANF, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, and/or Refugee Cash Assistance) customers, as well as customers who receive child support and DHS and/or DBHDD employees who receive payroll payments via the branded Mastercard EPPICard.

Here is what affected customers need to know:

  • You will still be able to use your existing debit MasterCard until it expires.
  • You should have received a notice of change from our service provider, Conduent.
  • You will be referred to a new cardholder website when the platform conversion is complete.
  • You will not be able to use your card from approximately 12 a.m.-7 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
